Out with the old, in with the new. It's new blog time.
I'm running on FunnelWeb now, an open source .NET blogging engine from Paul Stovell and others. The main driver for it was Markdown as a syntax as any of the tools I've used in the past make various messes of the HTML, the CMS I was using before showed so much promise but seems to have pretty much died.
The old blog was a little long in the tooth. I've got some things coming up I want to start writing about and this just didn't seem to be the place for it. Most of the content was not overly relevant. The cycling stuff is something I do over on other sites now and the technical posts are largely out of date and don't make a lot of sense to keep hanging around.
So rather than port all the content over I decided to start afresh.
I'll no doubt be tweaking things here and there, but just getting it online seemed to be the priority.
